Lake Washington Evening Cruise
Join us on Wednesday, July 22, from 6:30-9:30 pm for a relaxing sunset cruise through the waterways of Seattle and Lake Washington. Enjoy beautiful scenery, views of Mt. Rainier, the iconic Lake Union house boats and the Space Needle while we explore the dynamic shoreline at Seattle’s heart. Led by experienced guides, you’ll learn about the cultural and natural history of this part of the Emerald City. Appetizers will be provided. Drinks available for purchase.
Cost: $35/registered participant, $65/non-registered guest
40th Anniversary NAME Banquet and Auction
The annual NAME Banquet and Auction will be hosted at UW's Center for Urban Horticulture on Thursday, July 23 at 6pm. This is a festive evening of feasting, networking, auctioning and dancing! The annual NAME auction is one of the highlights of the conference….a chance to have fun, bid on really great items, and raise money for our mini-grant scholarship fund!
This event is included in full conference registration and registration for Wed-Fri. Please purchase additional tickets for any non-registered family members or guests.
Cost: $50 per guest
Have an auction item to donate? Here are some ideas for great “aquatic” auction items: jewelry; outdoor gear; any and all crafts/artwork; gift certificates for whale watching, fishing trips, bird watching, cabin/hotel/motel accommodations, or guided outdoor trips. There may be treasures in your attic just waiting for the NAME Auction! Solicitation of auction items on behalf of NAME is highly appreciated.

Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays & Fireworks!
Join your NAME friends on Friday July 24, 7:10 pm for one more outing before you head home. In addition to baseball, it's fireworks night—the sing-along edition. The Mariners have partnered with Pyro Spectaculars, the same company who produces the New Year's Eve at the Space Needle extravaganza. We need 20 people for the group discount rate. You must sign-up and pay by June 21st. If we don't get 20 sign-ups, NAME will provide a credit or refund.
