This year, we are pleased to announce that the conference registration fee includes all meals, evening events, and lodging at beautiful Pearson College in Metchosin, BC. Mealtimes and evening events provide excellent opportunities for networking, sharing, and extending learning. We encourage locals to stay for meals, if not overnight as well, in order to build on the relationships and conversations they will begin during the daytime sessions. Participants are not required to eat or stay at Pearson College, but no discounts will be offered for foregoing meals or lodging. Scholarship funds are available; please see the NAME scholarships page for more information.
Dorm rooms all contain two bunkbeds, and can be reserved to house 1 to 4 people per room. Common areas act as a gathering space or meeting room, and include a kitchenette. Bathrooms are shared, and guest WiFi is available across campus.
This year, we are offering Canadians the option to pay by cheque or credit card in Canadian funds to avoid international fees. Please note that all payments through the online registration system will be completed in USD and prices will be listed accordingly. If you would like to pay in Canadian funds, please select "Invoice Me" during the online registration process, and send an email to registration@pacname.org. A separate invoice will be sent in CDN$.
We will be offering the following registration options:
Full Conference Registration—includes lodging and all sessions, events, and meals from Sunday afternoon, August 14 through Thursday morning, August 18.
Two-day Registration—includes lodging and all sessions, events, and meals from either Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning, or Tuesday lunch through Thursday morning.
Single-day Registration—includes all sessions, plus lunch and coffee breaks only on the day/s registered. Does NOT include lodging or the evening events.

If you are interested in attending the conference but are hesitant for financial reasons, we encourage you to contact us regarding your situation. The annual NAME conference is organized with the purpose of bringing together a community of educators, researchers, students and citizen scientists who are passionate about marine and aquatic education; a limited number of scholarships and bursaries may be provided to those who would not attend simply because of the cost.
Cancellation of Conference Registration:
Cancellations submitted by August 3, 2016 will be refunded.
No refunds for cancellations after August 3, 2016.
