2014 Credits and Clock Hours

Academic/Professional Development Workshops 2014: #1

This course is open to teachers Nation Wide who will be attending ANY Academic Camp or Professional Development Workshop of their choosing at anytime throughout the year. 

Some examples of these types of camps and/or workshops are Math Camp, Science Camp, Language Arts Camp, PLC Workshop, Instructional Workshop, TAH Workshop, Gilder- Lehrman Workshop, NEH Workshop, etc. 
There are many National as well as local Academic camps/workshops available to teachers that focus on a variety of aspects related to the development of their particular subject matter and/or discipline.
 
Often times these Academic/Professional Development Workshops have Professional Scholars lecturing on particular topics related to their discipline. Participants will have the opportunity to attend these lecture session and earn 3 University quarter credits or 30 Washington Clock Hours or Oregon PDUs for attending an Academic Workshop of their choice.

PLEASE NOTE:
You may only receive university credit or hours one time for any event attended.
This course can be taken instead of the Credits/Clock Hours/PDUs offered at the actual camp by another agency.

ATTENDING MORE THAN ONE ACADEMIC CAMP OR WORKSHOP?
If you are attending more than one Academic Camp you can receive 3 quarter credits or 30 hours for each camp that you attend. Contact the instructor directly if this applies to you!
