The Northwest Aquatic and Marine Educators (NAME) is a “family” of educators passionate about oceans and watersheds. We believe in the magic of the world of water and its ability to facilitate learning.

NAME is a chapter of the National Marine Educators Association (NMEA), a non-profit organization that brings together those interested in the study and enjoyment of the world of water. Affiliated with the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), NMEA includes educators from pre-K through 12 classrooms, universities, aquariums, science centers, marine reserves and laboratories, businesses, agencies, and more!
